My small art collective has officially taken on the name Radiant Mayhem. Visit the site to see our upcoming shows, studio visits, gallery walks, and more.
I want to mention that the Summer Art Intensive I attended on Governor’s Island was utterly terrific. Created through a partnership between The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Creative Capital, the 5 days were packed full of everything a professional artist needs to know about their business. The staff was exceptional and all of the participants were utterly inspiring. We all felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to learn and share with each other. I highly recommend participating next year.
The Rubin Museum has a small yet powerful show going on now called Remember That You Will Die. It examines the differing perspectives on death as seen through the art of Buddhism and Christianity. Admission is free Friday nights.
